Projects for 2012

EAST MICHIGAN AVENUE (map it)
Gilletts Lake Road to Vista Drive - Proposed construction will be a complete road reconstruction with cold-milling, rubblizing (fracturing the concrete base underneath the asphalt), drainage improvements, concrete curb & gutter in specific areas, asphalt paving including paved shoulders & pavement markings. Estimated start date—May 2012.

WOLF LAKE ROAD (map it)
East Michigan Avenue to Austin Road - Proposed construction will include replacement of deteriorated cross road culverts, overband crack sealing, wedging to reshape the road cross section, single chip seal, fog seal & pavement markings. Estimated start date—June 2012.

NORTH PARMA ROAD (map it)
Parma Village Limits to Clinton Road (M-50) - Proposed construction will include a single chip seal, fog seal & pavement markings. Estimated start date—June 2012.

TERRITORIAL ROAD OVER PLUM ORCHARD CREEK (map it)
Proposed construction will include replacement of the culvert headwall & stabilization of the banks in all four (4) quadrants of the culvert. Portions of the road will be removed during construction & will be paved. Estimated start date—August 2012.

RECESSED PAVEMENT MARKINGS

1. Clear Lake Road: East Michigan Avenue to Waterloo Road
2. Mt. Hope Road: East Michigan Avenue to Territorial Road (M – 106)
3. North Meridian Road: Bunkerhill Road (M – 106) to the North County Line
4. Onondaga Road: Clinton Road (M-50) to the North County Line
5. Seymour Road: Dettman Road to Trist Road
6. Trist Road: Seymour Road to Clear Lake Road

Proposed construction will include grinding off the old pavement markings, blowing out debris & sweeping the affected areas & placing thermoplastic paint (pavement markings) in the recessed areas. All centerlines & edge line on these 38 miles of roads will be painted. Estimated start date—July 2012.

STARK ROAD (map it)
Eaton Rapids Road (M – 99) to the West County Line - Proposed construction will include base stabilization & brine injection of the existing road material, then rolled & compacted to the appropriate cross section. Estimated start date is June 2012.

Projects for 2013

O'BRIEN ROAD BRIDGE (map it)
Over Sandstone Creek - Proposed construction will include a complete bridge replacement. Estimated start date—February 2013

EAST MICHIGAN AVENUE (map it)
Vista Drive to Ann Arbor Road - Proposed construction will be a complete road reconstruction with cold-milling, rubblizing, drainage improvements, concrete curb & gutter in specific areas, asphalt paving including paved shoulders & pavement markings. Estimated start date—May 2013.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROJECTS
Roads have not been selected at this time. Proposed construction will include replacement of deteriorated cross road culverts, overband crack sealing, wedging to reshape the road cross section, single chip seal, fog seal & pavement markings. Estimated start date—June 2013.
