Projects for 2013

STARK ROAD (map it)
Eaton Rapids Road (M – 99) to the West County Line - Proposed construction will include base stabilization & brine injection of the existing road material, then rolled & compacted to the appropriate cross section. Estimated start date is Summer of 2013.

O'BRIEN ROAD BRIDGE (map it)
Road was closed to all through traffic on February 11, 2013 and construction began on February 18, 2013. Proposed completion date is August 2013.

EAST MICHIGAN AVENUE (map it)
Vista Drive to Ann Arbor Road - Proposed construction will be a complete road reconstruction with cold-milling, rubblizing, drainage improvements, concrete curb & gutter in specific areas, asphalt paving including paved shoulders & pavement markings. Estimated start date - May 2013.

FOLKS ROAD BRIDGE (map it)
Over the South Branch of the Kalamazoo River - Proposed construction will include a complete bridge replacement. Road will be closed to all through traffic. Estimated start date - July 2013.

BERRY ROAD AT CHURCHILL ROAD (map it)
Intersection realignment including cutting the hill east of the intersection and removing trees to improve sight distance. Estimated start date - August 2013.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROJECTS
Proposed construction will include replacement of deteriorated cross road culverts, overband crack sealing, wedging to reshape the road cross section, single chip seal, fog seal & pavement markings. Estimated start date - Mid to Late June 2013.

• Pulaski Road: South Village Limits of Concord to the South County Line
  
• Liberty Road: Gillette Road to Thorne Road
  
• Vicary Road: U.S. 127 to Brooklyn Road (including Jackson Road in the Village of Cement City). This road changes names to Cement City Road then Taylor Road east of the Village
